Summer Art Camp 2013 - (M,T,&W)
Join us this summer as we create unique projects, use a variety of materials, learn about other artists, & have FUN! Each session allows students to build their creative skills while working independently & as a group. Projects may include mixed-media, clay, sculpture and the exploration of two-dimensional surfaces. Students may engage in wire, wood, canvas, paint, charcoal, oil pastel, foam core, watercolor and more.
We will also celebrate the end of our time together with an Art Show for family members and friends to view our works of art. The Art Room provides all materials and a light snack. And remember we're making art (& memories) so don't forget to "Dress for a Mess!"
Who: Ages 5 & up (children who will enter kindergarten September 2013)
Dates: Week 1: June 4 -6th ....Week 2: June 10-12th
Week 3: June 17-19th .... Week 4: June 24th-26th
**Week 1 & 2 or Week 3 & 4 can be taken seperately or combined for a longer session. Our Art Show will be held Monday July 8th - students from all 4 weeks will display their work together.
Time: 9:15 - 11:45 (drop off permitted after 9am, pick up before 12noon)
Cost: $70 per week (M,T,W) - all materials & snack provided

Summer Art Camp 2011
Three seperate weeks, 30 students ages 5-12, and amazing art projects! We worked on a collaborative bottlecap mural, still life paintings on canvas, cd mobiles, abstract sculptures, radial designs on cork, batik style bags, sketchbook covers, and more!!!
2010 Summer Art Camp
A Week of Art
Students attended for one week, 3 hours each morning, and completed a variety of projects. Together we created a large scale circle mural, personal sketchbooks with a mosaic designed cover, plaster masks, Georgia O'Keefe paintings (acrylic on canvas), & ice cream sculptures (inspired by Wayne Thiebaud). We also experimented with watercolors & straw blowing, Shrinky-dink designs, & shaving cream to marbleize paper.
