The Art Room began in 2010,
in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. After years of teaching in both studio and classroom settings, I wanted to build a space that was all about creating. My Mission: To provide an inspirational and supportive space for individuals (young and old) to explore their creative side. Offering a fun, experimental experience where students can express themselves through various mediums. Trying on all types of art - to see which one fits best! |

My Background:
I grew up in Hackettstown.
I moved away 25 years ago but recently returned "home" with my 4 children.
I am so excited to share my passion and experience
with the community's artists!
I am a certified K-12 art teacher licensed in NJ, PA, and GA.
With a BA in Studio Art and Education from William Paterson University I also have
25 years of experience, including roles as an art teacher, mural artist
and art therapy instructor for children with autism.
I grew up in Hackettstown.
