Nice Work Kids!
We did it! Three weeks & 30 young artists later we completed our bottlcap mural. It measures approx. 8'x12' & consists of hundreds caps - WOW! Thank you to all that helped collect caps & thanks to all my hardworking artists who made it happen!

This amazing group of girls finished our last session with these sensational self-portraits, acrylic on canvas. Students range from age 5-10. I am very proud of all their talent & hardwork!

Family Mural
This mural was created by a family of three sisters, Mom, and Terri Johnson. With some assistance everyone was able to add to the final product, approxiamately 9'x15'. We began with some artwork on the wall (the family had experimented with over the years) but needed a helping hand to bring it all together. Imagine what your family could accomplish! Summer Art Camp 2010
A week of art
Students (ages 5-11) attended for one week, 3 hours each morning, and completed a variety of projects. Together we created a large scale circle mural, personal sketchbooks with a mosaic designed cover, plaster masks, Georgia O'Keefe paintings (acrylic on canvas), & ice cream sculptures (inspired by Wayne Thiebaud). We also experimented with watercolors & straw blowing, Shrinky-dink designs, & shaving cream to marbleize paper. Click on individual images to enlarge.
