Each session allows students to build their creative skills while working independently & as a group.
Projects will include mixed-media, sculpture and the exploration of two-dimensional surfaces.
Students may engage in wire, wood, canvas, paint, charcoal, chalk /oil pastels, fabric, watercolor and more.

We will also celebrate the end of our time together with an "Art Show" for family members
and friends to view our works of art.
The Art Room provides all materials and a light snack. And remember we're making art (& memories)

A Week of Art

Students  attended for one week, 3 hours each morning, and completed a variety of projects. Together we created a large scale circle mural, personal sketchbooks with a mosaic designed cover, plaster masks, Georgia O'Keefe paintings (acrylic on canvas), & ice cream sculptures (inspired by Wayne Thiebaud). We also experimented with watercolors & straw blowing, Shrinky-dink designs, & shaving cream to marbleize paper.
